Classes in; Hip-Hop, Jazz, Tap, Classical Ballet Cheerleading, Cheerleading Technique, Vocals , Drama, Contemporary & Modelling
Students from: 3yrs to Adults
Classes
All students are expected to be courteous & well behaved at all times.
Parents are NOT allowed to sit in during weekly classes or private lessons
unless prior arrangements have been made with the administration of
Elenya.
Parents viewing week (gold coin donation) is be conducted the last week of term 1-3.
Students are expected to wear the Elenya PAC uniform
Correct footwear is required in all classes for safety of all students
Hair is to be neatly pulled back of face for all classes.
Female students: Hair must be worn in a bun for all classical classes.
IMPORTANT: Students must be signed in and out of class at reception for
safety purposes. Please ensure that you collect your child immediately
after their class concludes. No child will be left alone, but responsibility can not be taken for students after the class has concluded.
Competitions/ End of year Performance / Examinations
All students are given the opportunity to participate in competitions,
examinations and our end of year Performance. The cost of examination
entry fees, competition & end of year performance costume hire fees, also student consumables are the sole responsibility of the parent or legal guardian.
Examination fee schedule will be available in term one of each year
and notification will be given of payment’s due date.
Students will be required to attend extra scheduled classes a (at an
additional fee) for competitions, examinations and end of year
performance. Notification of itinerary and charges will be given to parents prior to event.
If a parent /legal guardian fails to finalise any of their child’s outstanding accounts prior to Nov 1, of each year, this may prevent the child in participating on the end of year performance
Costumes
Elenya Performing Arts hires out all costumes for the End of Year
performances, group items in competitions, and event performances. This choice has been made alleviate parents’ expenses. The small fee charged for hire covers the basic elements eg, materials, cottons and sequins.
Although there is no pressure to make costumes we will accept any
assistance offered by parents during the period of performance fever.
With our end of concert scheduled for Friday December 5, 2008—7:30pm at Altona Civic Theatre, Civic Parade Altona.

Achievements
- We were invited to perform at the Dance Cancer Initiative which is to be televised on Foxtel’s Aurora Channel.
I would like to commend our troupe of Tanieka Allen, Eden Fenech, Allison Haillay, Chrissie Ilievski, Nicholas Joniec, Stephanie Joniec, Rachael McCormack and Taylor Ticehurst which performed the contemporary routine.
- Annemarie Grass was accepted into Q.U.T dance course
- Our cheerleading students have been asked to perform at the Melbourne Tigers game (VBL)
- Vocal students to perform for a fundraising event in Greensborough
- Five of our students; Tanieka Allen, Stephanie Joniec, Chiara Mocnik and Madeline Mocnik who were accepted to do master classes at the Australian Ballet School on Sunday 25th March 2007.
- Stephanie Joniec was fortunate to attend a master class held with the choreographers from the Walt Disney Tokyo Resort in early March.

- 2006 R.A.D. examinations – our students’ minimum mark received for
technique was 7 and the highest mark achieved was a perfect 10 by
Madeline Mocnik in Grade 4.
